Question by : A women who came for an interview now has got the job?
Ok , the situation is a lady come for an interview last week where i work and a 2nd interview yesterday, it turns out she has got the job and starts on Monday. Although she wont be working for me, she will be working under another team so it doesnt affect me.
I dont know where to start, she is a man, she is a really a bad looking man in drag. i feel so embarassed about it and embarassed for the chap who recruited her. I am not sure if i should say anything or if its any of my business in the 1st place.
Just imagine a stockyish man, must be 55 years old with slapped on makeup and marker pen eye brows i think and a husky voice. Not only that but she looks like what i would describe as a rugby player wearing old fashioned womens clothes.
Should i just get on with my own business or say something?

You should get on with your own business, she isn’t in your department, you don’t have to work with her and she may well be the best person for the job!

A Symbol

During my shamanic workshop on dreamwork we did an exercise in which we were to ask an ancestor for a symbol. This was not a journey, just a visualization. I picked an ancestor from my English side and visited a grey haired crone at her cottage where she was in the garden. When I asked her for a symbol she held out a mushroom of the many in the garden. "That’s too easy," I thought because of all the shamanic associations with mushrooms. "That’s not it," she said, "I’ve got something here". She was looking at the ground and reached down searching. She brought up a triangle made of three sticks tied together with leather twine and gave it to me. I was stumped at what this could be and was pleased at that.
In the next exercise we were to journey to that ancestor and ask what the symbol meant. I journeyed to the upper world and found her in a classroom with a stage. I sat in the classroom by myself with the company of my familiar who had scampered up from the lower world as I ascended. She stood on the stage and with the help of a projected powerpoint display showed me that the triangle was a tool I could use to determine the three most important aspects of a subject; this would help me to keep my life in balance. For instance the three cultures of my birthright—Thai, English, American. Or in writing—the author, the audience, the message—story, self, message. In business it would be the client work, marketing and accounting.
Other elements could be hung on it, but she said to keep it simple because I was not great at math. I asked if it was a dinner bell as I was hungry for lunch.
"No it doesn’t ring," she said firmly. Then the powerpoint showed me a pen and ink drawing of the three sticks in a triangle. "It is also decorative," she said and the drawing grew vines on the outside of the triangle to form a circle as one might decorate a drum. I had just been thinking about how I could decorate my drum.
After the journey the teacher mentioned that such a symbol might be displayed on a special shirt. "Funny you should say that," I said.

Everyone knows that if you are going to operate a business in today’s world you need a domain name. It is advisable to look at the domain name selected as other see it and not just as you think it looks. My 2 yr old corgi is a nightmare and i need help with the following. His behaviour has completely changed:
When he was a puppy we trained him to keep off our decking due to him peeing and pooing everywhere, and as the kids play there it was obviously not good. However, over the past 2 weeks he has suddenly ‘forgotten’ that he is not allowed on this.
He keeps coming on it and doing his business everywhere…
we have tried firmly ‘NO’… doesnt work.
We tied him onto his kennel for short periods but he chews through whatever we tie him with… (including 4 leashes)
We bought a ‘time out’ pen, which has no base so he pushed the pen over to the grass and tried to dig his way out, resulting in our grass being ruined…
We now purchased a cage with a base and he continually breaks out of it, so we secured the end in which he breaks out. He cant get out…
we leave him in this for 10 minutes at a time and let him out only for him to run straight past us and onto the decking?
He is like a dog possessed just now and i feel i have tried everything.
Any answers will be appreciated.
Please note we only leave him in this for 10 mins, then let him out, when he goes on decking, we put him back in.
Oh and the other day he tried to escape and jammed him nose!!
We are going to put a gate up this weekend. But i made a ‘gate’ by jamming his pen into it, and he squeezed throught a hole so we put things all round it to stop him coming up but he eventually get up. He is only ever out the back several times a day and when he is in the house he is loved and played with.
Can I just say he goes for two 30 minute walks per day, sometimes more. He doesn’t really pee on the decking, more spraying. Its the simple fact he walks on the decking and he has even started chewing the stair on it

This is my work briefcase – I dumped everything out to take the photo and Its amazing how much junk you end up lugging around. I cannot remember why I have some of this here..
